Sportech’s Bump 50:50 Goes to the World Series

Bump’s Raffle program provided safe in-person raffles for the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation

Sportech’s Bump 50:50 was thrilled to support the fundraising efforts of the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation as the team’s Globe Life Field served as host to the 2020 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays.

The World Series raffle followed the successful completion of the safe in-person Texas 2 Split raffle conducted during the National League Championship Series earlier this month at the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field.

Bump 50:50’s technologies for safe in-person raffle sales included new contactless payments at all roving teller and kiosk points of sale to help ensure safe interactions between sellers and fans.

As with the raffle held during the National League Championship Series, the World Series raffle will benefit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation’s Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy, which provides children from across North Texas with a range of athletic and academic programs.

Dave Kurland, President of Bump 50:50, remarked: “For many fans, the charitable 50/50 raffle is a big part of game day so we were very excited to help our partner, the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, offer a fun but safe game day experience that generated much-needed funds for their worthy charitable foundation.”
